Meet the team

Beryl is a seasoned practitioner in purchasing, merchandizing and supply chain management with over 20 years of experience in the field. She has served a number of MNCs, including General Electric, CB Richard Ellis and CitiBank N.A., as well as in the public sector including West Kowloon Cultural and District Authority (WKCDA) and HKEAA. She has also worked in several SME’s with a wealth of experience in sourcing, procurement and supply chain management in China.

In 2004 to 2009, Beryl reported to the CFO of China Financial Services, GE International Inc. to conduct overall supervision of administration services including office facility management, renovation, maintenance, purchasing, sourcing, security, printing, mailing and messenger services in different cities (Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing).  She also acted as a Sourcing Leader of the company to manage the supplier base, implement the centralized purchasing policy across different business units, identify cost-savings opportunities and conduct supplier selection.

Beryl was the Regional Sourcing Manager of CB Richard Ellis on strategic sourcing to global banking clients including Bank of America / Merrill Lynch and State Street Corporation. She managed to drive cost saving initiatives for the clients across Asia Pacific, sustained costs ownership and contracts management. She also assisted in aligning the global sourcing strategies within Asia Pacific Region, managed different facilities management service providers’ performance, improved the commercial terms & conditions and risk assessment and management.

At Citibank N.A., Beryl was the Facilities Management Category Manager, responsible for the full arrangement of FM goods and services, including project management service, M&E, offices/branches renovations, security, fire protection systems, cleaning, mailing and reception desk. Other projects that she handled during that period included Remote ATMs installations, regional printing optimization, FM supply base consolidation. She has good exposure on regional initiatives and has led a number of projects in conjunction with the regional office in Singapore.  Other duties included vendor and contract management, procurement performance matrix, vendor selection programme.

At WKCDA, she continued her FM category manager role in the Central Procurement Team with supervisory responsibility for two procurement officers.
